Upgrade Tomorrow

We are tentatively planning on upgrading to the latest version of Tracks tomorrow (Thursday the 15th) at 10:30pm EST.

See the previous post for some cool new features to look forward to.

The context field is now an auto-complete field. So once you tab to it you can start typing the name of your context and it will start showing options that match what you’re typing. I believe it defaults to your first listed context (which in your case sounds like it’s “Inbox” ?).

As for the tickler items, I did notice that the “show from” field is
visible even when adding a regular action. I cannot attest to the
reasoning for this – but it is part of the latest Tracks source –
it’s not an upgrade error. I just added a new tickler item and it
does not show up in my inbox – can you verify that the show from date for those items is in fact a future date? It may be that past
tickler items are not recognized, but new ones are?

Hi there,

I think something may have gone awry with the upgrade procedure. Today all of the items from my tickler are sitting in my inbox and the “Add a Next Action” is not working properly. The context is fixed at “inbox”, there is no drop-down for it, neither is there a drop down for project. And it has the due and show-from fields from the tickler. So basically the tickler and inbox seem to have got mixed up.
